Overview
StormBook: STW Tracker is an unofficial companion app for Fortnite Save the World players. The app is designed for Collection Book tracking, mission alerts, tasks, reminders, premium features, app preferences, and backup/restore tools.
The app does not require an Epic Games account login and does not ask for your Epic Games password.
Information Stored on Your Device
StormBook stores app data locally so the app can function. This may include Collection Book progress, collected item status, task state, theme settings, viewer mode settings, notification preferences, reminder settings, haptics preferences, cached premium status, and backup data you create.
Backups and Restores
If you use the backup feature, Android's document picker lets you choose where to save or restore the backup file. StormBook does not automatically upload your backup files to a StormBook server.
Mission Alerts and Network Requests
The app connects to online services to retrieve mission alert data and related app content. Hosting and infrastructure providers may process technical request information, such as IP address and standard network metadata, to deliver those services.
Advertising
StormBook may show ads to non-premium users through third-party advertising services such as Google AdMob. If ads are enabled, Google and its partners may process device identifiers, IP address, app interactions, diagnostics, advertising data, and similar information for ad delivery, fraud prevention, measurement, and related services.
Review Google's own privacy information for details about Google's data practices.
Premium Purchases
Premium access is handled through Google Play Billing. Google processes payment and purchase information under Google's terms and privacy practices. StormBook does not receive your full payment card information.
Notifications and Reminders
If you enable notifications, StormBook may use Android notification and alarm features for mission alerts, V-Bucks-related alerts, daily reset reminders, and other app reminders you choose to enable. You can disable notifications through the app or Android system settings.
Information You Voluntarily Send
If you submit an in-app incorrect item report, we may receive the report key, the app language you were using, the StormBook app version, an alert snapshot needed to review the report, and any optional comment you choose to add. If you use the website support form, we may also receive the topic, message, and any optional name, email, device model, OS version, app version, diagnostics, or other details you choose to include. This information is used to review reports, troubleshoot issues, respond to support requests, and improve the app.
Third-Party Services
StormBook may rely on Google Play, Google Play Billing, Google AdMob, hosting providers, Android system services, and other infrastructure needed to operate app features. Those services are governed by their own policies.
What StormBook Does Not Intentionally Collect
- Epic Games passwords
- Epic Games login credentials
- Sensitive personal information unless you voluntarily include it in a support request
Data Sharing and Retention
We do not sell personal information. Limited information may be processed by third-party services only as needed for ads, billing, app updates, hosting, support, notifications, and app functionality.
Locally stored app data remains on your device until you clear it, restore over it, uninstall the app, or delete files you created. Private admin review items are retained only as reasonably needed for support and issue tracking. Open items may be kept while they are under review, and completed support/report tasks are automatically removed from the private review queue after a limited retention period.
Security
StormBook is designed to keep most progress data local to your device and to use secure network connections where available. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children's Privacy
StormBook is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has sent personal information through support, contact us so we can review the request.
