How StormBook Works

Collection Book Tracker for STW

StormBook keeps Collection Book progress in one place so you can tell what is missing, what is already collected, and what is still worth chasing from the daily alert list. The goal is a usable tracker, not a manual spreadsheet project.

Track what is missing and what is finished

The Collection Book area helps you keep a clear line between missing items and collected ones. That becomes more useful when it feeds back into Mission Alerts, because the alert list can show whether a reward still matters before you run it.

Progress is stored locally for the browser session and can be exported as a backup. That makes the tracker useful even when you are switching devices or testing the web app alongside the Android app.

Built-in database across item types

The tracker includes an in-app reference database for key STW Collection Book categories. That includes weapons, traps, heroes, survivors, lead survivors, defenders, and related item groups needed to identify rewards and collection targets more reliably.

Viewer and grid workflows

StormBook supports different ways to review Collection Book progress, including a visual in-game-style viewer and a more direct grid/list style. That lets you browse the collection the way you prefer while still working from the same stored progress data.

Filters, search, and rarity review

The Collection Book tracker is designed for large lists. Filters help narrow the collection by type, rarity, status, and search text. This is useful when you only want to review one area, such as missing Legendary heroes, uncollected traps, or survivor categories.

The goal is to avoid forcing users to scan the entire collection every time. A targeted filter is faster than manually comparing names against a separate spreadsheet.

Why it helps day to day

Without a tracker, it is easy to lose track of whether a reward belongs to a hero, survivor, lead survivor, or weapon line you still need. With the Collection Book data already in the app, StormBook can help you make that decision faster when alerts reset and when tasks are completed.

The Collection Book is not isolated. It is part of the same workflow as alerts and tasks, which is the main reason the tracker stays useful across resets.

Hero, weapon, and trap detail cards

Grid cards can include additional item information where available, such as hero perks, abilities, weapon perk-slot references, and trap details. The web app avoids requiring copyrighted item art and instead presents the information in a lightweight tracker format.

Backup compatibility

StormBook Web backups are designed to be interchangeable with the Android app where possible. That means users can export progress from one version and import it into the other, while still keeping the data local and under the user's control.
